I worked for and with Pres at Burroughs. He was the very first person to give me a promotion in 1978 to sales management. I always thought the world of Pres, and although I moved around with Unisys, we stayed in contact and friends until he retired. He was wonderful to me and I learned a great deal from him. I learned just as much about people as I did the business. He was very giving and believed in people.I just found out he passed away and my thoughts and prayers are with his family…Paul Hales Carmel, IN US

Sorry about missing the visitation. I knew Preston from when we both worked for Burroughs. We ran into each other at a doctors waiting room, about 3 years ago and had a nice visit. He was a guy that you would never forget, once you met him. We both started Burroughs about the same time. He was in sales and I was in Service Dept. I have some good memories. Illiopolis, IL US

sorry to hear about Preston. I enjoyed working along side of him in the Examining section of CMS in Spfld. One of the most interesting and intellectual people I know. He was very mannerly always had a new joke or story to tell every day. I think he even enjoyed the daily commute. He enjoyed all his family. Springfield, IL US
