Dr. B. Johnson
I met Odell at the center on 71st Place in Chicago. His passion for the men he served was remarkable. I was blessed to work with him and introduce several young men to the services he provided to young men needing more than a program but a mentor. I remember the lively conversations over lunch or dinner which he always initiated. I carry with me his vision to support and uplift men who need more than a program, rather an extended family in community. I remember he often spoke of the influence his parents had over his life and what became his mission. Rest in peace. Strength to the family.
