I was a basketball and football varsity manager at Eisenhower High School when Tom was there. He was always a gentleman, and a hard working player in each sport. He always greeted me with a smile and a nice comment of some sort. I just learned of his passing, and I am so sorry. He was one of the absolute best. Phil Precht
Harry and Ruby, We were so sorry to hear about Tommy. We did not find out about his death until yesterday. The last time we saw Tommy was at Mom's funeral a year ago. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. The Deardorff Family ,

Dear Cook Family, I am deeply saddened by Toms death. I had known Tom since our kindergarten year at Roach school. Our family lived a block over from the Cook family. He my brothers and the rest of our neighborhood enjoyed playing over at Roach school ground, Clokey park etc. Tom and I enjoyed our High School years and after ,playing with and against each other. In our sporting endeavors. Over the years we would bump into each other around town. I had not seen Tom for a couple years, until last summer when my Mom passed away. At the funeral Mass. Tom was in line for Communion. He came up to me, sitting in the pew, and put a hand on my shoulder. I thought that was kind and considerate gesture. I will miss him. I'm truly sorry for our loss, tom was a great cousin and person he always had a smile for everyone and I will miss that smile,but now he is up there with alot of great aunts and uncles, and I'm sure he will keep smiling. We'll miss him alot. Shug Moweaqua, IL US
