Decatur – Margaret A. Taylor, 76, of Decatur, passed from this life Wednesday, January 3, 2018, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Margaret was born September 01, 1941, in Brownsville, TN, the daughter of Joshua Allen and Henrietta Cooper. She retired from Mueller’s and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

She leaves not to mourn but to cherish fond memories her children: Carolyn Taylor, Willie (Sharon) Taylor, Earl L. Taylor, Jr., Loretta (Lindsey) O’Neal all of Decatur and Annette (Gregory) Jackson of GA; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; siblings: James Allen, Suzette Allen and Etta Allen all of Decatur; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brother Noah and nephew James Allen, Jr.

Homegoing services to celebrate her life will be 11 am, Friday, January 12, 2018, at Northside Baptist Church; visitation will be one hour before the service in the church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

    I was sad to hear about the passing of Margaret. Praying strength and comfort to the entire family. She will be missed, she was so helpful to us when Bigma was at the nursing home with her.
