I am saddened to learn of AJ’s passing through a search for him. He was like family when we were all in our 20’s and stationed in Virginia Beach- NAS Oceana. He was my then fiancé/husband’s best friend. He was also in our wedding. We shared many great times with AJ on double dates with my friend (who ended up being his girlfriend) and at various events. He was a sweet person to be around. It makes me so proud to see all the awards he earned during his military career. Our sympathy to AJ’s family.
