Decatur – Dameon Blue, 43, of Decatur, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, June 5, 2022, in Decatur, IL. Dameon was born April 4, 1979, in Decatur, IL, to the union of the late Louis Thomas “Jody” and Brenda (Cooper) Blue, Jr. The family is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Demeon. Though Dameon has departed this life too soon, he shall be greatly missed by his family and friends. Those who knew Dameon knew him as a quiet loving, caring, kind person who had a smile that would light up a room. He had a great sense of humor and he loved to have fun by hanging out with his brothers and friends. Dameon leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Brenda Blue; sons: Romeon Blue and Damarrion West; three grandchildren all of Decatur; brothers: Marcellus, Corin and Brandon Blue; grandmother, Sarah Harden; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dameon was preceded in death by his father, Louis Thomas “Jody” Blue, Jr., grandparents, uncles and aunts. Dameon, your presence brought joy to all who had the privilege of knowing you. Homegoing services to celebrate Dameon’s life will be Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 11 am, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be one hour prior in the funeral home.
