Everett was my neighbor when I was in the first grade. One day on the school bus he came home with a bird house from his shop class at MPHS. He gave me that bird house and I still have it 75 years later. His talk about shop classes is what prompted me to be a shop teacher . Great friend and later a fellow worker at MPHS. I am sorry to hear of Everett's passing. My name is Crystal Thompson and I teach in the Olympia School District. I was privileged to work with Everett in McLean, years ago. He was a very special person whom I respected and enjoyed working with, visiting with, and knowing. He was a blessing to me and to our district.
