Uncle Max was a favorite of my family, very nice to my wife Cheryl & son Vaughn. Max dedicated his life to take care of his Mother, our Aunt Harriett and we are very grateful & blessed for the weekly visits that brought joy to my Mother, his cousin Nelda. We love you Max, rest in peace, you will always remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Cousin Max had a great family spirit and we always looked forward to visiting he and the family. He was an accomplished sportsman at golf and in his early high-school was a great basketball player.. My dad would often take us to Mt Zion games to watch Max play and we'd root for him and for the home team!!
So many memories in my heart. Say hi to your mom from Uncle George and cousin Ray.
Max and my brother, Glen Nihiser were great friends for many years. He always enjoyed getting together for the one room school reunions. You will be missed.

He was an amazing cousin, friend and comfort to my Mom. She looked forward to and enjoyed the Friday visits. He will truly be missed.
Max was a great guy. I worked at the Wabash Depot Antique store and Max would come in at least once a week if, for no other reason, that to shoot the bull. He used to play golf with my father in law. We had a lot of laughs and shared a lot of stories. He will be greatly missed.
