Karen and Dale, I am so so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. 🙏🏻
Betty was one of our "Neighbor Moms" when I was growing up in Home Park. She was a nice Mom who was forbearing with us, which we appreciated. My sincere condolences to Don, Dale and Kelli.
What a wonderful, precious lady she was! She was a beautiful Aunt of mine, and when I got to come back to Decatur, I always visited her first, While a soft spoken lady, she had fought so many health issues and she always won each battle. There is so much more to honor Betty. Its for sure, that she will not cross Jordon alone, and we will meet again and I will see her beautiful smile and warm hug in that splendid place called Heaven. God Bless you Aunt Betty, Your Kindness and beauty will never be for forgotten. I will miss you, but know we will meet again. You were the best. Wear that crown that awaits your arrival, and say Hello to my favorite uncle and your Husband. Thank you for you being my occasional substitute Mother after my mother crossed Jordon. Love and will miss you bunches.
From your nephew.. Wes Blankenship
Betty , my mother in law for many years will be missed terribly. She has been a wonderful example to all her family as a selfless mother, grandmother, mother in law. She has been loving, forgiving and patient to all. Thank you Betty for the person you have been in my families life.
