Uncle Jim, Mike and girls. I am so sorry for our loss, She will be missed so much. It is as tho a light went out in our familu, she lit up a room anytime she was around. Now the rooms will be a little dimmer. Our thoughts are with you. Decatur, IL US
Jim,I was shocked and saddened to hear about Bert. I'll always remember Bert coming out to my car to get Buster out cause he really didn't want to leave my side. Being a rottweiller he was only focused on one thing and that was me – Bert would have to drag him inside and she somehow made him excited to be with her. She became his best friend and always liked getting his his hair done. She always called him a "knot-head". Buster too has passed on – that's why we haven't seen you for so long. I am truly sorry for your loss. Bert was a special friend to all animals and humans alike. Decatur, IL US
Jim,We were so sorry to hear about Bert. She was truly an exceptional person. She always took the time to talk but more importantly to listen. I can't begin to tell you how much animal advice she gave me over the years. I will never forget how kind and gentle Bert was to my aging golden retriever, Corky. I started out as a customer but ended up as a friend. Words cannot express how sorry we are. Argenta, IL US
Is was a sad day when Robert left Decatur and was no longer to walk me to the first grade at Roach school. After nearly 30 years of making our various dogs beautiful it was again sad to loose Bert. Jim & family we share the thought that she is now at rest with all her furry friends. Decatur, IL US
Jim,I am so sorry Bert is no longer with you, and your family, as well as those of us who saw her, not only as someone to groom our dogs, but a kind and caring person. She never said anything that wasn't worth listening to, and was true to what she believed. You have Ed's and my heartfelt sympathy. Bert's smile will always be remembered by us. Decatur, IL US
