It was an honor to have been a part of your Mother's life, she had quite a testimony. She has her reward now. She really loved her family, and her Lord….May God bless you allPastor Mike PrittsSecond Church of GodIÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢m FreeDonÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢t grieve for me, for now IÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢m freeIÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢m following the path God has laid you see.I took His hand when I heard him callI turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another dayTo laugh, to love, to work, to play.Tasks left undone must stay that wayI found that peace at the close of day.If my parting has left a voidThen fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kissOh yes, these things I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrowI wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My lifeÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢s been full, I savored muchGood friends, good times, a loved oneÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too briefDonÃ?â??ââ?¬â?¢t lengthen it now with undue grief.Lift up your hearts and peace to theeGod wanted me now; He set me free. , US
To: The Family Of Agnes Marie Barber,You will naturally be surprised to get this e-mail as, I'm not acquainted with the deceased or any of the family. I read in the paper about the death of your loved one. Often, I write the families of these dear ones, hoping it will be a comfort. At times like this, it's comforting to think about and to read about God's purpose to rescue us and our loved ones from death one-day. So the Bible refers to such ones as "sleeping". Jesus spoke of a dear deceased friend in this way at John 11:11-14.One day, these "sleeping" in death will hear Jesus voice and wake up, according to John 5:28,29.What a precious hope you have to see your loved one again!Encouragement comes also with the reminders that you are not alone in your grief and sadness. Our Loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah, promises to help! Please note Psalms 83:18; Isaiah 41:10,13 and 2Corinthians 1:3,4. It seems that one way God comfort is through the Bible. Perhaps you can find time to look up these scriptures. Particularly notice John 11:25,26 where Jesus was speaking of a resurrection, and asked the question. Do you believe this? If you would like a discussion of these promises further, please e-mail us at [email protected] our deepest sympathy,The Mosley Family Macon, GA US
