Aileen Bellah's Obituary
Aileen Bellah passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at home with her family in Decatur.
Aileen was born April 21, 1928 to Agnes Dorrin Forty-Johnson and Harold Raymond Johnson and preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert Henry, Mother, Father and Brother Neil Raymond Johnson.
Aileen is survived by her sons Richard Raymond, Kristin Robert, Robert Neil(Tonia) and daughter Sandra Dorrin. Grandchildren Richard Neil Bellah, Kimson Plato, Kristy Witherspoon, Travis Blancett(Katie), Christopher Webb, Cole Jorgensen and 4 great-grandchildren.
Aileen worked at TJMaxx for the past 18 years which gave this 94 year old so many wonderful friends and experiences, she just loved touching people with kindness. Celebrating a truly exceptional life.
Aileen was an incredible woman and lived a productive and loving life spreading kindness wherever she went. She loved the friends she made working at Staleys and the last 18 years at TJMaxx. Spreading kindness was her proclaimed purpose in life and she did it very well I think.
Aileen was raised in rural Oregon and was instilled with strong work ethics from the beginning when she began working at 16 in 1944 until it was time to retire which she did, for 2 weeks and has worked since. Retiring from the Federal Bankruptcy Court in Orange County CA, ultimately landing in Decatur IL. where she enjoyed her loving family and grandchildren, reading a good book and watching the Cardinals.
A memorial service will be held on Monday 11/21/2022, 2:00 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home in Decatur.
Aileen will be laid to rest in her home town of Port Orford OR in the Spring of 2023
