Albert L. "Bud" Stout's Obituary
Albert L. “Bud” Stout, Jr., 70, of Decatur passed away on Friday, February 24, 2017 in his home.
Bud was born on August 21, 1946 in Pana, IL the son of Albert L. Stout Sr. and Helen M (Stivers) Stout. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a cook for many restaurants and was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his two sisters: Madona L. Groves of Decatur; Evelyn J. Harris of Mt. Zion; two nephews, Steven Webb of Decatur; Curtis Groves (Patricia) of Decatur; and three nieces, Debra Byers (Jeff) of Mt. Zion; Diane Childress (Brad) of Manteno; and Pamela Groves of Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Ruth Gentry.
The family would like to thank Rick White and family for all their care and friendship to Bud over the years.
Honoring Bud’s wishes cremation will take place at Graceland/Fairlawn Cremation Center. There will be no public services. Private burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park.
