Alice Faye Ginger Brown's Obituary
Alice Faye Ginger Brown, 66, of Niantic, died on Tues, Dec. 19, 2006, in Decatur Memorial Hospital
Funeral services will be 1 pm Sat, Dec. 23, 2006, at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home; visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Fri. in the funeral home with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis. Due to health reasons, the family asks that no perfume or cologne be worn.
Alice was born on June 15, 1940 in Osborneville, the daughter of David Edward and Virginia Lucille Pryor Ginger. She was a housewife and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Alice married John J. Brown on Jan. 18, 1957 in Harristown.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband, John of Niantic; children: Cheryl Frank Dandridge of Lakeland, FL, Penny William V. Christ of Illiopolis, Timothy Joseph Jo Ann Brown of Washington, IA, Susan Christopher Owens of Decatur, and Alice Gean Brown of Niantic; brothers: Roy Cora Ginger of Pana, and Nial Karon Ginger of Warrensburg; sisters: Veda Rogers of Decatur, and Barbara Allen of Delaware, OK; grandchildren: Dawn Milam, Amanda Hartman, Travis Hartman, Jennifer Hartman, John Hollgarth, William A. Christ, Jeremy Hollgarth, Kasi Christ, Deliah Hollgarth, and Cody Christ; great grandchildren: Elijah, Spencer, Jazmine, Michael, Samara, Lexianna, Logan, and three more soon; ex son-in-law, Charles Hollgarth of Decatur; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula J; one grandchild, two great grandchildren, two sisters, 2 brothers and many other special loved ones.
The family would like to thank all of Alice's Brothers and Sisters at the Kingdom Hall for all their love and support. They would also like to thank DMH Hospital, Aspen Ridge, The Kidney Specialists, and everyone for all the care and concern shown to Alice and her family.
