Alice E. Reynolds-Trummel's Obituary
Alice E. Reynolds-Trummel, 85, of Decatur, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Vonderlieth Living Center, Mt. Pulaski.
Alice was born December 9, 1925 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Charles Holly and Maude Dearman Nixon. A member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, Alice worked for Decatur Title Company for 25 years, Clinton Power Company, Art Ploeger Title Company and most recently Chiligiris Title Company. She was also a member of the Women Of The Moose and Democrat Ladies Of Macon County. She married Charles Lyle “Gabby” Reynolds on Jan. 14, 1944. She later married Harold O. Trummel on Feb. 4, 1974 and he preceded death on Oct. 2, 1992.
Surviving are her sons: Robert Carolyn Reynolds of Decatur, Benny Janet Reynolds, Sr. of Boody; daughter, Vivian D. Richard Willis of Moses, Lake, WA; step-sons Robert Marie Trummel of Lane, Corwin Helga Trummel of Pearl City, HI, Don Lee Kathy Trummel of Ft. Myers, FL; step-daughter, Susan Roger Dean Wilson of Lane; brother, Vincent H. “Benny” Dorothy Nixon of Decatur; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Mark A. Reynolds and half brother, Everett Scehnet.
Visitation for Alice will be from 10 am to until the service time at 11 am, Monday, July 11, 2011 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Interment will follow in Illini Cemetery. Memorials: Harbor Light Hospice.
