Allan Vincent Willian's Obituary
Allan Vincent Willian, 76, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away November 24, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Allan was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on June 27, 1947, the son of Arnett and Edwina (King) Willian. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and was a member of Delta Chi fraternity while in college. He worked as a retail plumbing salesperson. Allan married Dixie Pinkstaff on May 29, 1971, in Pinkstaff, Illinois. He was passionate about golf and Cardinals baseball. He was also an avid reader and history buff, especially military history. He attended East Park Baptist Church in Decatur.
Allan is survived by his wife Dixie; children Elizabeth (Eric) Case of Decatur and David (Michelle) Willian of Decatur; grandchildren Matthew Case, Andrew Case, Jacob Case, Chase Tabor, Alexis Willian, and Sarah Willian; and great-grandchildren Phoenix Tabor and Griffyn Tabor. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is providing cremation services for Allan. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at East Park Baptist Church, 1919 Baltimore, Decatur, Illinois. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Memorials gifts of clothing, personal care items, etc., are encouraged to be made to Cancer Care Center of Decatur.
