Angela L. Stanley's Obituary
On April 15, 2007 at 6:41 pm in DMH Intensive Care Unit the Angels of God called Angela Levette Stanley home.
Homegoing services will be 11:00 am Friday, April 20, 2007 in Jasper Street Church of Christ, Decatur. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Angela L. Stanley was born February 24, 1980 to Jacqueline Cruz Stanley and Leroy Stanley Jr. She graduated from MacArthur High School, and worked as a CNA until her health failed her.
Angela leaves to mourn her passing her mother and father, Leroy and Jacqueline Stanley, Jr. of Decatur; sons, Courtney Love, Jr., Kyler and Jayvein Stanley, all of Decatur; brothers, Carlos Cruz of Decatur; Marcus Stanley, Denver, CO., Juan Swan of Springfield; sister, Tracy Stanley of Indianapolis, IN; a paternal grandmother, Margurite Stanley of Decatur; uncles, Theodore Carol Cruz and Richard Cruz of Decatur; Roosevelt Stanley of Springfield; Michael Stanley of Paris; Charles Stanley of Baghdad, Iraq; David Denise Stanley of Louisville, KY; Anthony, Shawn and Maurice Stanley of Decatur; and Eugene Stanley of Denver, CO; aunts, Valette Don Harvey of Pontiac; Gloria Leonard Smith, Shellie Thomas Stanley, and Nancy Ted Green, all of Decatur; special cousins, Tahjie and Tia Stanley of Decatur; and Tamika Johnson, Indianapolis, IN; and a host of nieces and nephews and other cousins.
Preceding her in death are her maternal grandmother and grandfather, paternal grandfather, one son, two aunts, and a maternal great-grandparents.
The family would like to thank the staff of DMH-ICU, DMH Home Health, Apria Supplies, Barnes Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for their care and support of our loved one in her time of need.
