We are so sorry to hear about Ann. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. She was such a wonderful woman!! Dick was my god-father and Ann meant so much to me as well!! She will be missed!! Peotone, IL US
I am so very, very sorry to hear about Ann. I got to know Ann and Dick through Jekyll Ann's preferred spelling of his name!, and I will always remember the twinkle in her eye when she would request the perfume "pertinkum" that she and Dick liked on him. I don't think I've ever been privileged to know a more loving couple; and I truly believe the two of them are together, smiling down on their family because they know what a fine job they did. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. . . Harristown, IL US
I will always remember Ann as a little spitfire! She was full of life and energy, wasn't afraid to speak her mind, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Books and politics were favorite topics of conversation between Ann, myself and my oldest daughter, Marie. She was also a wonderful cook, and I fondly remember the many holiday meals she and Dick prepared and served the entire Weatherford crowd with all of us laughing and carrying on around the dinner table with an adult or two frequently sharing the 'kids' table. Especially memorable over the years were her sirloin tip roasts, special brownies, cheese balls and broccoli casserole :~ What brings me peace and a quiet happiness is the knowledge that she is now with the love of her life – the wonderful husband who adored her and with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage. She won't soon be forgotten. My prayers are with all of her children and grandchildren… Clarksville, TN US
