Anna Maria Biagi Mize's Obituary
Anna Maria Biagi Mize, 82, of Decatur, died Monday, December 10, 2007, in her home surrounded by her family.
Anna was born November 13, 1925, in Centralia, the daughter of Francesco and Elisabetta Rovina Biagi. She was a homemaker and founding member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She married Richard D. Mize in 1944.
Surviving are her husband, Richard of Decatur; children: Judith husband, David Miles of Shalimar, FL, Mike wife, Lisa Mize, Kathy husband, Mick Skelton, Teresa husband, Dan Wrigley, and Mary husband, Todd Hooker all of Decatur; 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brother, Arthur Biagi of Centralia; sister, Jackie Cantrell of Richview; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shirley husband, Charles Sculley of Jacksonville. She is also survived by all those people who loved her dearly and were important in her life, especially: Debra Mize, Timothy Schook, Sr. and Mary Jo and Bill Hammer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson, Tyler Schook.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Thursday, December 13, 2007, in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, vigil prayer service at 4:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Friday, December 14, 2007, in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Rev. Richard Weltin celebrant. Entombment will be in Mary Queen of Angels Mausoleum. Memorials gifts may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church or The House of St. Joseph the Workman, 319 Racetrack Rd, Ft. Walton Beach, Fl, 32547.
