Anna was born in Springfield on January 01, 1944 a daughter of Levi and Charlotte Washbond Powers. She worked as a floral arranger for McManus Florist, and a folder for R.W. Means. Anna was a member of the Weldon United Methodist Church, and currently was serving on the village board. She married Wilbur X. Brown on July 12, 1988 in Honolulu, HI.
Surviving are her husband of Weldon; daughter, Roberta Slone, husband Richard of Weldon; stepson, Patrick Brown, wife Becki of Hillsborough, N.C.; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Renner, husband Scott of Nashville TN.; brother, John Powers, wife Delores of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Brianna & Jared Slone; step-grandchildren: Nicholas & Paul Brown, Margaret Pettis and Michelle Renner; step-grandson, John Xavior Pettis; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
