Anna Marie Stanton's Obituary
Decatur – Anna Marie Stanton, 87, of Decatur went to her home in Heaven on Monday, July 16, 2012 in Lincoln Rehabilitation Center.
Marie was born on January 3, 1925 in Angola, IN the daughter of John Kenneth and Nina Pauline (Smurr) Wiley. She married William E. Stanton on July 13, 1945 in Lebanon, IN.
She leaves behind her husband, William; daughters, Judy Marsh (Myron) of Indianapolis, IN; Trudy Williams (Dennis) of Lebanon, IN; Marsha Stanton of Decatur; Jackie Schiminski (Bill) of Decatur; Paula Patton (Terry) of Taylorville; April Bone (Bobby Jr.) of Sullivan; grandchildren, Greg Koslofski; Tim Koslofski; Brian Polley (Autumn); Shannon Sheets; Joshua Sheets; Aron Rasar; Amber Haun (Janson); Julie Auton (J.R.); Jill Friesner (Eric); Jenny Hendricks (Charley); Robin Overton; Denise Thomerson; Marty Williams; Christina Kiefer; Tonya Hansen (Mike); Stacey Spinelli (Jim); Jennifer Marsh; Elly Kreutzer (Chris); 39 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons-in-law, Richard A. Cramer and John O. Polley.
The family would like to thank Dr. Atluri and the entire staff at Lincoln Rehabilitation Center for all their loving care of Marie during the past two and a half years.
Honoring Marie's wishes cremation will take place in Graceland/Fairlawn Crematory. Burial in Macon County Memorial Park will be at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer Association.
