Anthony Williams' Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Williams, 53, of Decatur departed this life on Thursday, January 27, 2011 in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL.
Anthony was born on August 5, 1957 in Kankakee, IL the son of De' Ella Jordan and Charles C. Williams. He received his education in the Kankakee School System. He later went in the Army at age 17. He loved to live life of the land anyway he could. He was a fine Man and will always be missed and remembered by many as being a loving, caring man.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Beverly; 2 step-daughters, Tenecia Sigler and Lawanda Mayes; 2 grandsons, Jaylen and Deontae Mayes all of Decatur; his sisters and brothers, Daisy Jordan, Paula Neal, Jewell Jordan, Charlean Jordan, Gloria Simon, Lynette Williams Johnson, Gregury Williams, Stanley Williams, Dwayne Jordan, Michael Simpson; 2 step-sisters, Quanda Love and Rosie Rivera; 11 nieces and 17 nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two nephews, Ramon O.T. Johnson and Robert L. Holt.
Funeral service celebrating the life of Anthony Williams will be 11:00 am Thursday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Ozell Banks officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service in the funeral home.
