Armand Tosetti's Obituary
Armand Tosetti 89 of Decatur died Wednesday December 26, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday December 29, 2007 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Rev. Rick Weltin as celebrant. Visitation will be 6:00- 8:00 pm Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a Vigil Prayer Service at 5:30 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Nokomis, IL. Memorials can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Mr. Tosetti was born on May 3, 1918 in Nokomis, IL the son of Silvio and Gentila Bernardi Tosetti. He served his country proudly in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked in material control at Caterpillar for 30 years retiring in 1981. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council # 577 and the Very Rev. Jeremiah J. Murphy Assembly #0211, American Legion, Elks, Irish Club, Sons and Daughters of Ireland, Union #7510, and Caterpillar Retiree's Club. Armand was an accomplished Musician. He played the Accordion, Piano, Organ, Vibraharp, and in the military he played the trumpet. He married Mary M. "Marge" Coady on December 26, 1951 in Nokomis, IL she preceded him in death on September 10, 2006.
Surviving are his sons, Paul D. Tosetti and wife Catherine of San Marino, CA; Dr. Patrick A. Tosetti and wife Laura of Western Springs, IL; grandsons, Christopher Tosetti and Jonathon Tosetti.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, five brothers, and three sisters.
