Carolyn: Sorry to hear of your husband's passing. Was in his court room in DeWitt Co. many times. I once asked him to tell you I said Hello and explained that you and I had graduated from High School together. I pray that God will comfort you and your family through this very trying time. Seeing Judge Powers at Richland always made me smile. He was very dedicated to his students, had a great sense of humor, and was a joy to work with. He will be deeply missed.
I was fortunate to know Art through working at Richland. When he was on campus he would always stop by my office and say "Good Morning" whether it was morning or afternoon. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. I will miss seeing him on campus. Blessing to the family.
