Audrey E. Pickett 77 of Decatur died May 21, 2004 in Heritage Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Monday May 24, 2004 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Horath officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Richey Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.moranandgoebel.com
Audrey was born on January 11, 1927 in Moweaqua the daughter of Homer F. and Mabel A. Elsea Gifford. She was a retired assistant manager of the VFW Monroe, WI, former member of the Moose, and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Keith N. Nichols and wife Mary of Nisbet, MS; Charles Nichols of Decatur; Joe Nichols of Miami, FL; and Ronald Nichols of Decatur; daughters, Margaret Witts and husband Gary of Decatur; and Diane Martin of Decatur; brother, Ronald Gifford and wife Peggy of Decatur; sister Minerva Reynolds of Decatur; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Her parents, three brothers, Clarence Gifford, Red Gifford and Howard Gifford, two sisters Margaret Jewell and Helen Campbell, and one grandson preceded her in death.
