Barbara Jean Bledsaw's Obituary
Barbara Jean Bledsaw, 76, of Decatur, IL passed away March 23, 2023 at her residence.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Barbara was born October 29, 1946 in Decatur, the daughter of Mary Margaret Jordan. She was raised by special grandparents, Mina Lane and John McClure Lane. Barbara graduated MacArthur High School and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with family, enjoyed time at the cabin in Shelbyville, cookouts, campfires, fishing, and the Cubs when they were winning!
She married James Bledsaw Sr. In 1965, husband of 57 years. Survivors include husband James, sons, James (Barb), Danny (Pam), 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters Sherry Shampine (Steve), Bonnie Brewer, brothers, Alva Jordan (Paula), Ronnie Jordan (Valory), special grandparents, mother, and sister, Judy preceded her in death. Special thanks to the nurses at Cancer Care Specialists of Decatur.
