Barbara A. Seitz, 79, of Decatur, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 1:30 pm in Boiling Springs Cemetery, Decatur. Memorials gifts are suggested to Homeward Bound Animal Shelter, Decatur.
Barbara was born on March 13, 1928 in Decatur Illinois, the daughter of Harry and Gertrude Stovall Seitz. She graduated from Millikin University in 1951. Barbara retired from the Illinois Department of Public Aid where she worked as a supervisor for over 30 years. She loved dogs, books and flowers.
Surviving are two sisters, Suzanne Kaelin of Chicago, IL, and Judy Kuppler Wayne of St. Louis, MO, four nephews, one great nephew, one niece, one great niece, and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one nephew.
The family of Barbara A. Seitz is being served by Moran & Goebel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2801 N. Monroe Street.
