Barbara J. Winebrinner's Obituary
Barbara J. Winebrinner, 76, of Decatur, formerly of Clinton, died Tuesday, November 16, 2009 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Barbara was born February 10, 1933, in Clinton, the daughter of Edrie L. and Velma Miller Allen. A member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Clinton, Barbara worked as a CNA at the Lincoln State School. She married James Max Winebrinner June 11, 1951 in Chicago and he preceded her in death October 21, 1969.
Surviving are her daughters: Viola J. Steve Lighthall of Kenney, Kathy J. Sid Jackson of Argenta, and Linda D. Steven Short of Clinton; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; brother, John Diane Allen of Lombard.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Ruth Towns; and grandson, David Birdwell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am, Friday, November 20, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Memorials: Second Chance For Pets
