Bernice Eleanor Price 94 of Decatur, IL went to be with Lord on Tuesday January 6, 2004 in Aspen Ridge Nursing Care Center.
Graveside service will be at noon on Friday January 9, 2004 in Kellar Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00-11;00 am Friday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Condolences to: the family at www.moranandgoebel.com.
Bernice was born on September 9, 1909 in Chesterville, IL the daughter of Orlando and Margaret Duvall Hostetler. She was a retired seamstress from the Decatur Garment Factory. She was a member of the Lovington Church of God. She was a former member of the Eastern Star and the Rebekahs. She married Alfred Price on May 22, 1926 in Humbolt, IL he preceded her in death on December 25, 1970.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her daughters, Dorothy Pugsley John of Decatur and Mary Lou Hill Corwin Jr. of Lovington; daughter-in-law, Helen Price of Decatur; grandchildren, Marsha Beckett Bob of Decatur; Mark "Doug" Mitchell Nan of Seymour, TN; Roy "Allen" Price Gail of Mattoon; Scott Canaday Leanne of Moweaqua; Greg Hill Becky of Lovington; Connie Price of Decatur; and Alonda Garner Jeff of Decatur; eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was greeted in heaven by her family and friends who preceded her in death including her parents, husband, three sisters, two brothers, one son Roy Allen Price, one daughter, Joanne Canaday, two son-in-laws, one grandchild.
