Bertha Louise Harden's Obituary
Decatur – Bertha Louise Harden, 67, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018.
Bertha was born December 19, 1951, in Boston, MA, the daughter of William H. and Frances (DeMitte) Moore. She worked as a CNA and was involved in Girl Scouts. She married Robert L. Harden February 14, 1987 in San Bernadino County, CA.
Surviving is her husband, Robert of Decatur; children: Kenneth (Jean) Wilkins of CA, Tamika (Larry) Manns of Decatur, Aaron Oldham of Decatur, Andre Harden of Chicago, Ebony Oldham of Decatur and Kimberly Green of Decatur; grandchildren: Quashone Sanders, Shemika Sanders, Briana Harden, Nia Harden, Kaylee Oldham, Quatiria Sanders, Shemeetra Sanders, Shemilah Sanders, Angel Powell, Mya Powell, Andre Harden, Jr., Jade Harden, Evona Lowe, Ny’Aire Harden, Jaberion Phillips, Alexis Markwell, Davon Brown, Jaquan Brown, Cameron Brown, Quantarius Oldham and Nijel White; a host of great grandchildren; sisters: Corine, Patricia and Frances; best friends: Gwen Bennett, Lisa Reed and Linda Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, great granddaughter, Camille Harden and in-laws, Lewis and Joanne Harden.
A visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate her life at 11 am in the funeral home.
