Bessie Wilson's Obituary
Bessie Mae Wilson 78, of Decatur, passed away, Monday, June 11, 2012 at St. John’sHospital in Springfield.
Bessie was born on March 19, 1934, the daughter of Edgar and Idabel (Flowers) Sangster. She was a member of Church of Living God CWFF, and worked as a dietician until her retirement at Monroe House of Decatur. She married Henry Wilson. He preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to cherish fond memories her children, Comelius Little; Barbara Rolax and husband of Little Rock, AK; Gloria Robbins and Robert Spates of Decatur; Willie Tate Jr. and Sarah Tate of Decatur; grandchildren, Tracey Freeman of Little Rock, AK; Tammy Tate and Tyrone Box of Decatur; Demetrious Freeman of Detroit, MI; Torina Deberry of Decatur; Antonio Tate of Decatur; Lawana Wilson of Decatur; Majarie Cobb; Mario Cobb; Nataka Bobbit of Decatur; great grandchildren, Diondray Tate; Brittany Cobb; Lukia Wheeler; Sade Box; Devonte Wheeler; Marajorie Freeman; Torri Tate; Terriana Tate; Christopher Kadamous; great-great grandchildren, Zamariah Harper; Jykeria Mosely; Zanei Cook; A'Drayah Tate; Takaylen and Jaylen Muex; Takorri and Nataka Bobbit Jr.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, two brothers, one great-great granddaughter, two great-great grandsons and one great grandson.
The family would like to give special thanks to DecaturMemorialHospital, St. John'sHospital, Lewis Memorial and Kindred.
Private family graveside services will be in Greenwood cemetery.
