Betty L. Gillibrand 84 of Sullivan Formerly of Decatur died Wednesday November 3, 2004 in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center Mattoon.Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday November 6, 2004 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. James Ash officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Friday in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Masonic Home in Sullivan. She had worked at Copeland Supply Center and retired from Martin Jewelry Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. She married John F. McGinnis on October 17, 1948 he preceded her in death on February 24, 1966. She later married Wilburn E. Gillibrand on October 28, 1973 he also preceded her in death on April 23, 1993.She is survived by her Step-son Thomas Gillibrand of Harristown; step-daughter-in-law, Cheryl Gillibrand of Decatur; nieces, Connie Nickey Donald of Decatur; Nancy Napier of Decatur; Brenda Easley Jim of Springfield; Kay Sanservino Don of California; and Jackie Gannon Dan of Colorado; nephews, Thomas Maddox Beverly of Decatur; Larry Maddox of Wisconsin; four step-grandchildren; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
