Betty Delores Moretti's Obituary
Betty Delores Moretti, 83, of Decatur, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St Mary's Hospital.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, 2801 N. Monroe, Decatur, IL. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL where she will rejoin her beloved husband, Alvin C. 'Curly' Moretti. Her son, Pastor Jeffery Ziegler will officiate.
Betty was born September 3, 1929 in Bloomington, IL to Arthur B. and Gwendolyn Clemmons. She was married to Carl Ziegler (deceased) she later married Curly Moretti (deceased) on September 18, 1965.
Surviving are her children: Darryl Ziegler, of KY; Gary Ziegler of Decatur; Patrick (Robin) Moretti of Goose Creek, SC; Michael (Joetta) Moretti of Decatur; Jeffery Ziegler (Suzy) of Decatur; Susan (Ken) Syverson of Cedar Lake, IN; Alan (Maureen) Moretti of Decatur; Anthony Moretti of Rockford, IL; Rhonda (Warren) Patton of Taylorville, IL; Jerry Moretti (Lori) of Romeoville, IL; Bruce (Kristin) Moretti, Sr. of Mattoon, IL; and grandson (who was raised by Curly & Betty) Bruce (Ashton) Moretti, Jr. of Decatur. She will be missed by 37 Grandchildren, 36 Great-Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Clemmons; husband, Alvin C. oretti; son, Anthony Adams; grandson, Richard Kessinger.
Betty was a wonderful wife, loving and supportive mother, and a doting grandmother. She will be greatly missed by everybody, including all her neighbors, friends and all the kids that spent many hours visiting with her, keeping her company.
She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Life of Decatur.
