Betty Ruth Morland 80 of Decatur died 7:00 pm Friday April 15, 2005 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 19, 2005 in St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Father James O'Shea as Celebrant. Moran & Goebel Funeral Home is in-charge of arrangements.Betty was born on November 16, 1924 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Charles E. Kerr and Mary Ellen Kerr. She was a Homemaker and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. She married Leo H. Morland on December 6, 1942. He survives.Also surviving are her sons, William C. Morland and wife Sally of Lafayette, IN; Leo H. Morland Jr. and wife Sandra of Forsyth; daughter, Ruth E. Wrigley and husband Michael of Riverton; sisters, Norma Lutz and husband George of Springhill, FL; step-sister Dorothy Walkley of Greensburg, PA; ten grandchildren, and Twelve great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, and a stepbrother, Charles Kerr.
