Betty Lee Quinlan's Obituary
Betty L. Quinlan, 83 years old from Decatur, IL., passed away on January 2, 2026, surrounded by family.
Born in San Diego, California, she began her career as a dance instructor before moving to Illinois, where she worked as an interior decorator for Sears and JC Penney. She later retired from Thornton’s in 2012. In her free time, she enjoyed sketching, painting, and solving word puzzles. A true animal lover, she especially adored her Chihuahua, Chica, with whom she will be lovingly reunited. She always saw the good in people, loved to laugh, and her contagious laughter brought joy to everyone around her.
She was a loving mother to her two daughters, Teri Myers and Tracie Arocha. She is survived by her brother, Charles “Chuck” Graham, and Judy Graham; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, listed from oldest to youngest: April Myers; Rachael and Luke Gallivan; Brandy and Tyler Smith; Brock and Ramon Arocha; Aiden Parrish (Malone); Emma and Elliott Gallivan; and Rowan Smith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ellen “Bunny” Graham (Harryman), and her father, Cecil E. Graham.
