Betty Maxine Walters' Obituary
Betty Maxine Walters, 83 of Decatur went to be with the Lord on February 14, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital of natural causes.
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2010, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Wray Offerman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Gilead Cemetery, Decatur, IL. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 352 W. Wood St., Decatur, IL 62522.
Betty leaves behind her husband, of 63 years, John W. Walters, Sr., daughters, Kathy David Gaither of Moweaqua; Georgia Korthals, Nancy Benson both of Decatur; Vicky Gary Campbell of Naperville; and one son, John W. Walters, Jr. of Decatur; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sisters, Doris Bernard Fenwick of Brimfield; Anna Mae Decker, East Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty will be reunited in Heaven with her parents Alta Flo and Charles Hardy Moke, brothers, Russell Moke, Charles Moke, and Robert Moke, one sister, Bertha Gasparovich.
