Beverly A. Ketenbrink's Obituary
Decatur – Beverly Ann Ketenbrink, 77, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Beverly was born December 11, 1941, in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of William Wayne and Virginia Mae (Page) Stith. A member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Pontiac, IL, Beverly was co-owner, along with her husband, and office manager for Spacemark, Inc, a metal building construction company. She loved to bowl, was a member of various bowling leagues and many trade organizations. She married Robert Louis “Bob” Ketenbrink on September 20, 1959, in Pontiac, IL, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2014.
She is survived by her siblings: Rodney W. (Sue) Stith of Clinton, and Karen Sue (Roger) Christianson of Pontiac; sister-in-law: Cheryl Stith of Pontiac; five nieces, twelve nephews, two aunts, a very faithful Golden Retriever Sandy, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Nancy Jo (Cox) King; brother, Jeffrey A. Stith; niece, Lori; nephew Donald Lee “Butch”; and great niece, Abby.
Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2018, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1314 E. Indiana Avenue, Pontiac, IL, 61764; visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Pontiac. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Animal Shelter, 4332 E. Cleveland Avenue, Decatur, IL 62521 or Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association, P.O. Box 3429, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
