Billy Harold Poszich, 68, of Decatur went to be with our Lord at 9:21 am on Wednesday January 24, 2007 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be at 11 am Monday January 29, 2007 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm Sunday January 28, 2007. Billy was born October 1, 1938 in Jenkinjones, West Virginia the son of Andrew and Mary Emling Poszich. Billy retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of service as a machinist. He served in the Navy from 1961 to 1965. He was a member of the American Legion and also attended Summit Avenue Baptist Church.
Billy married Berangere DuPage on August 3, 1970. Billy was a loving and faithful caregiver for his wife throughout her long illness. He loved traveling and camping with his wife, spending time with his family, playing golf with his buddies and joking with everyone.
He is survived by brother Robert Poszich and wife Shelby of Monks Corner, South Carolina, Sisters: Katherine South of Decatur, Wilma Bostic & Maxine Gillespie of Princeton, West Virginia, Helen Crump of Eccles, West Virginia, brother-in-law Hubert Clark and sister-in-law Betty Poszich of Abbs Valley, Virginia sister-in-law Dorothy Poszich of Detroit, Michigan, many nieces, nephews, and special friends Carolyn Garrett and Phyllis Jean Pate.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five brother and two sisters.

Billy will be dearly missed by all.
