Bobbie J Farmer, 69, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Bobbie was born on August 1, 1946 in Clarksdale, MS the daughter of W. D. and Jimmie Lee (Luther) Farmer.
Surviving is her son, Rickey Farmer and stepson, Charles Palmer; sisters, Louise O’Neal, Martha Prince, Diane Haile, and Geneva Haile-Robinson; Brothers, Albert Farmer, Joe L. Haile Jr., David Haile, James Haile, Calvin Haile, and Johnny Haile; Grandchildren, Carliza Gray-Simms, Taseua Richardson, Kandise Woodland, Dashanna Farmer, and Rickenna Farmer; Special niece, Angela Forrest; special friend, Carolyn Forbes, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Farmer; mother, Jimmy Haile; father, W.D. Farmer; grandmother, Roberta Luther; brother, W.D. Farmer II; nephew, Andrew O’Neal II; and niece, Elouise O’Neal.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Guaglianone, Dr. Starr with SIU, and Decatur Memorial Hospital’s 4100 and ICU staff for their excellent care. The family would also like to thank Alpha & Omega Transit.
Homegoing service to celebrate Bobbie’s life will be 11 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2015 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with Rev. Brenda J. Miller officiating. Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
