Bobby C. Walters' Obituary
Bobby C. Walters, 85, of Decatur passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Decatur Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Bobby was born on December 23, 1927 in Decatur the son of Robert F. and Mary Catherine (Gilmore) Walters. He married Margaret O. Bilbrey on December 23, 1945 in Decatur. He worked as a truck driver from 1944-1987 and was a member of the Teamsters Local 279 & 142.
He leaves his wife, Margaret; daughters, Karen Jody Cameron, Judith Boss, and Linda Grandon; sons, Robert C. Walters (Joyce) and James W. Walters. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grand.
He was reunited in heaven with his parents, brothers, Corbit “Skeeter” Walters, Junior Wayne Walters, and John W. Walters; sisters, Mary P. Trusner, Lucille Tuttle, and Ida May Burgess; and one grand-daughter.
The family would like to thank Decatur Rehabilitation & Health Care Center for the great care and love they had for him and Harbor Lights for all their care help and his special lady Marilyn.
Graveside services celebrating his life will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Decatur Rehabilitation & Health Care Center activities fund.
