Brian Andrew Mahan, 24, of Decatur passed away Sunday June 05, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 2 pm Thursday June 08, 2005 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where Rev. Noble Staley will be officiating; visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Wednesday June 07, 2005 in the funeral home. Family request casual attire be worn. Brian was born in Decatur on April 25, 1981 the son of Bradley and Bonnie Stovall Mahan. He worked as an Union Laborer for Local #159. He also worked for Otto Baum for five years.
Brian is survived by; his finance Stephanie Alexander of Decatur; mother; Bonnie Lawrence and step father Tony of Mount Zion; father, Bradley Mahan of Wellmen, Iowa, his children, Peyton, Devin and Taylor all at home, his brothers; Brad, Jake and Michael of Decatur; sister, Haley also of Decatur; Grandparents; Linda and Merrell Mahan of Decatur and great grandmother Pauline Stovall of Kentucky. Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian was preceded in death by grandmother; Beverly Stovall and grandfather, Gene Stovall and step grandparents Gerald and Shirley Lawrence.
Brian was a beloved son, father, brother, finance and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and his smile.
