Bruce Edward Massey's Obituary
Bruce Edward Massey was granted his angel wings on October 18, 2018 at 5:37 a.m. His final days were spend surrounded by his wife and children. Bruce touched many lives throughout his memorable life.
Bruce was the third child of George Massey and Grace Massey.
Bruce was a graduate of Burlington County Technical High School class of 1970. He then enlisted in the United States Army where he received an Honorable Discharge.
He married Suzanne Mullens in 1971, and that union produced Bruce Edward Massey Jr. and Scott Andrew Massey. They later divorced. He married Ruth Anne Pygott in 1981 and that union produced Christopher James Massey. They later divorced. He married Lori Ann Masterson in 1992 and that union produced Stephen Warren Massey, Shelby Lynn (Massey) Bartholomew, Shandy Marie Massey.
Bruce was employed by the City of Decatur for 22 years as a Heavy Equipment operator. At the time of his death, he was a sweeper truck operator.
He is survived by his wife Lori of 26 years, sons Bruce Edward Massey Jr. and wife Anqelique, Scott Andrew Massey, Stephen Warren Massey and Fiance Brittany Creek, Daughters Shelby Lynn Bartholomew and husband Joshua Keith Bartholomew, and Shandy Marie Massey. Grandchildren Noah, Fiona, Wyatt. His brother Robert Massey and wife Marilyn, Sister Mary and husband Marv. Brother Dave Massey. His cousin Carolyn Riha to which he had a special bond. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on October 23, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 at Moran’s and Goebel Funeral Home. Funeral to be held October 24, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow funeral.
He was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, parents.
