Candis L. "Candy" Kreher's Obituary
Candis L. "Candy" Kreher passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Candy spent nearly a year preparing for the cruise God scheduled for her on Saturday.
Services celebrating her life will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2003 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery. Memorials to: Growing Strong. The family has requested casual attire for the visitation and funeral.
Candy was born on October 01, 1952 in San Antonio, TX. the daughter of Chandis and Evelyn Rhodes Stewart. She graduated from Eisenhower High School and Richland Community College. A member of Peoples Church of God, Candy worked at home and devoted her life to her children and her animals. Candy married Dennis L. Kreher on December 30, 1973 in Decatur.
Candy is survived by her husband of 30 years; daughters: Jennifer M. Nick Rice and Brenda L. fiancÃ?© Lonnie Gray Kreher all of Decatur; son, Daniel L. Kreher at home; parents: Chandis and Evelyn Stewart of Decatur; granddaughters: Destinie C. Phillips, Le'Tyler V. Rice, and Trinity N. Rice; brother, Michael L. Susan Stewart; sisters: Jana M. Daniel Wrigley, and Susan K. John Newell; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Horses: Dually, Lady, and Ebby. Dogs: Storm, Lacy and Tess.
Candy was preceded in death by her brother Craig Allen Stewart.
