Carol L. Carter, 50, of Decatur passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in her home.
Carol was born on June 18, 1963 of Decatur, IL the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy (Frazzee) Eversole. She worked for GCA. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and being outdoors. She loved cooking. She married Robert Carter on June 19, 1981.
Surviving are her husband, Robert; sons, Daniel Carter (Courtney) of Arizona; Jennifer Borders (Joseph) of Decatur; Jillian Howerton (Darrell) of Decatur; brother, Steven Eversole (Kris) of Decatur; sister, Pam Holmes (Jeff) of Kenney; grandchildren, Shyanne, Brandon, Alexus, and Isabella; 7 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Wolf Conservation Center in Yellowstone National Park.
