Carol Ann Krumwiede's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Carol Ann Krumwiede, who peacefully departed this life on December 12, 2024, at home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on March 26, 1963, to Richard and Mary Lee Standridge in Springfield, IL.
Carol married Dale Krumwiede on December 27, 1986.
She proudly worked at SIU School of Medicine for the last 13 years. Prior to that position, she held various jobs including waitress, bookkeeper, mail carrier, union laborer, road sign holder, bartender, Shaheen's pit gate ticket girl and many more.
Carol was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Carol is survived by her husband, Dale Krumwiede, son- Jacob (Mary) Krumwiede, son- Lucas (Maggie) Krumwiede, daughter- Rachel Krumwiede (Grant Winning), and her grandchildren, Lyndon, Parker, Bonnie, and Cassie. She is also survived by her brothers, Rick (Joyce) Standridge, Randy (Rita) Standridge, Ronnie (Nancy) Standridge, Robbie (Denise) Standridge, and sisters, Janet Standridge and Sallee Gladish Lowery, and a large extended family.
In memory of Carol, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Carol's celebration of life will be held on January 25, 2025, at Boondocks in Springfield.
