Caroline Agnes O'Brien 83 of Oreana died Friday August 19, 2005 in McKinley Court Nursing Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday August 26, 2005 in Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Rick Weltin as celebrant. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home with a Prayer Service 5:30 pm. Burial will be in the Garver Cemetery. Caroline was born on November 24, 1921 in Decatur the daughter of Fredrick and Anna Volk Hays. She was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church and Oreana Senior Citizen Group. She was married Donald O'Brien he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her sons, Michael O'Brien Moira of Bloomingdale, NJ; William J. O'Brien of Charleston; Stephen O'Brien Susan of Mattoon; daughters, Susan Swanson Lloyd of Decatur; Mary Ann Olson John of Bloomington; Madonna Mahon Bob Burtschi of Oreana; Regina Welch Butch of Fort Smith, AK; brother, William Hays Lillian of St. Petersburg, FL; sisters, Cecelia Wright of Decatur; Patricia Tullo of Hollywood, FL; special friends and neighbors, Helen Wiggins and Eileen Sleeth, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband four sisters, two brothers, and daughter-in-law.
