Carolyn Mae Bonnell's Obituary
Carolyn M. Bonnell, aged 82, passed away on February 22, 2025, in Decatur, IL. Born on December 8, 1942, Carolyn was a cherished member of her community and a beacon of love and support in her family.
Carolyn was a graduate of Argenta-Oreana High School and spent her life dedicated to her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was renowned for her kind and nurturing nature, always putting the needs of her loved ones before her own.
She leaves behind her husband, Larry Bonnell; her son, Kevin Bonnell; her daughter, Sherlyn Laskowski; her sister, Marilyn Montague; and her brother, Robert Jacoby. Carolyn's legacy also continues through her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lillian Janie Jacoby, and her daughter, Denise Risley.
In accordance with Carolyn's wishes, there will be no services. Her life was a testament to the quiet strength and enduring love she shared freely with all who knew her. Carolyn will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a cornerstone of her family.
