Carolyn June Burcham's Obituary
Carolyn June Burcham, 67, of Decatur, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital.
Carolyn was born in Decatur on March 24, 1954, the daughter of Jack Thomas and Darlene (Speagle) Beck Sr. She worked in the food service industry. She married Donald H. Burcham in 1984. Carolyn loved German shepherd, country music, and the Chicago Cubs.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter Darla (Petr Stulpa) Girven of Decatur; siblings Deborah Bogle of Argenta, Jack (Connie) Beck of Golconda, IL, and Richard (Gloria) Beck of Decatur; grandchildren Miley Girven, Jennifer Girven, and Breanna McGlade; great-grandchildren Maki and Adalynn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; siblings Robert Beck and Marilyn Grammer; grandchildren Harold Edward Burcham and Jaclynn Darlene Burcham.
A funeral service for Carolyn will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, November 1 at Moran and Goebel Funeral Home. Visitation will precede the service from 10am until noon. The funeral will be livestreamed at www.funeralvue.com/login/event#62830. Burial at Graceland Cemetery will follow the service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
