Carolyn Giles' Obituary
Carolyn Mooney Giles, 64, of Decatur died at 2:25 am on June 23, 2005 in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be 3 pm Saturday in Moran & Goebel Funeral Home, where visitation will be two hours before the services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Illiopolis. Carolyn was born in Decatur on September 15, 1940, the daughter of Hugh Russell and Lillie Regina Jolly Mooney. She worked in the fabric department for Wal-Mart, first the north location then the Mount Zion Road Location. She had previously worked for ADM for 14 years, and A.E. Staley for 4 years.
Carolyn is survived by her three sons, Rusty and wife Lisa of Macon, JD Giles of Illiopolis, Kirby and wife Rhonda of Decatur; one brother, Al Mooney and wife Margie of Harristown and one sister, Patricia and late husband Bill Meece of Sacramento, CA. Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
