Decatur IL- Cathy Y. Muex 51, of Decatur IL passed away Wednesday March 25, 2015, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Home going services to celebrate Cathy’s life will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday March 31, 2015, at Resurrection Life Church,1085 W. McKinley Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Cathy was born September 29, 1963, in Decatur IL, the daughter of Charlie T. Bond and Betty Patterson. Cathy loved to travel and she was blessed with a gift to encourage others. The people who were blessed to be a part of Cathy’s life enjoyed her gift of compassion, laughter and love.
Cathy leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Betty C. Patterson, father Charlie T. (Juanita) Bond., brothers; Gary L. Muex, Raymond L. (April) Patterson, Lester R. (Bobbi) Patterson, Douglas (Amy) Patterson., sisters; Shirley Muex-Graves (Lee), Sheila Coleman, Charlotte (Tony) Cook, Pamela Jones. Loving Aunt Willa Fox., Godson,Seth Nuckolls and special niece Cheyanne McCrory., nieces Chantelle Patterson, Shaquail Patterson, Destinee Patterson, Raeven Patterson, Genesis Muex, Gabby Muex, Ciara Patterson and GiAnna Muex., nephews, Brandon Muex, Peyton Patterson, Malik Washington -Conlee; great nephews : Treyvon and Adrian McCrory, Nathanial Patterson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a special cousin Audrey Blue, Brownsville TN, and lots of friends. Special friends, Sheri Teal-Nuckolls, Dorothy Chalmers, Lydia Delgado, Beverly Burlington, Annetta Finley, Kimberly Singleton, Eva Shelley and Rebecca Wright.
Cathy was preceded in death by, brothers, Larry Muex and LV Muex, step father Lester Patterson Sr.,grandparents Murlene Muex, and Alfred Muex Sr., and uncle Alfred Muex Jr.
